One of the principal components of the conveyor is the elastomeric belt which has a double function:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">-to contain the conveyed material<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">-to transmit the force necessary to move the load.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The belt conveyor is designed to transport material in a continuous movement on the upper part of the belt. The belt surfaces, upper on the carrying standard and lower on the return strand touch a series of rollers which are mounted from the conveyor structure itself in a group known as a troughing set. At either end of the conveyor the belt wraps around a pulley, one of which is coupled to a drive unit to transmit motion. The electrical and mechanical components of the conveyor such as rollers, drums bearings, motors etc&#8230; are produced according to the highest standards. The quality level reached by major manufactures guarantees function and long life.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The principal components of the conveyor, rollers and belt need very little maintenance providing the design and the installation has been correctly performed.
